rhysafe PLC was formed from two renowned predecessor companies: FireEx Consultant GmbH and the HSE, process and plant safety divisions of PELEVEN PLC. This background is no coincidence, but rather a deliberate choice: we combine the in-depth expertise of specialist safety engineers with the entrepreneurial flexibility of a lean consultancy firm.
Our name serves as both a statement of principle and a reminder. *rhysafe* draws its inspiration from the River Rhine – the lifeblood of the European chemical industry – and, through its logo, recalls the 1986 Schweizerhalle incident, in which the River Rhine was severely impacted far beyond Switzerland’s national borders. Preventing such events is the very reason for our existence. Reliability and safety are not merely our aspiration, but the very core of our identity.
